Marriage Visa
If you’ve fallen in love and married a Colombian, first off, Congratulations! And second, you can now apply for a visa. What you need in order to apply depends on where the wedding took place. If the ceremony was in Colombia, you can apply with your Colombian marriage certificate as is. If the marriage was abroad, you will need to get your marriage certificate apostilled and translated, and then registered at a Colombian notary or Consulate. An issue to watch out for is a name change (which is not common in Colombia) as the notary may ask for additional documents to prove your identity.
