These include: the purchase price of the property, correct registration of the capital used to purchase the property, and perfection of title.

Requirements

  • Passport Data Page

  • Passport page with last entry stamp into Colombia

  • Passport-style Photo on a white background

  • Purchase Price must be at minimum 350 Colombian monthly minimum wages - currently $455,000,000 COP

  • Registration of foreign investment with the Colombian Central Bank

  • Title to the Property

  • Proof of income or bank account statements to be able to show you can support yourself in Colombia (you are not granted Work Authorization to work in Colombia)

  • Real Estate Investment Visa Application

The supporting documents submitted must not exceed 5MB in total.

Government Visa Fee

Roughly $55 USD to apply, Roughly $271 USD for the Visa (the Colombian Foreign Affairs Ministry quotes in USD for stability)

Duration

From 1 year to 3 years - at the discretion of the Immigration Officer. Renewable.
